I finished school early and gained a pre-apprenticeship for pre-press and graphic print production through a government funded program. During my work placement with that program, I was offered an apprenticeship with that company. I stayed with them for two years and then got the job with InHouse.
I love playing video games in my own time. I’m one of the head people in the guilds for Warcraft and I really enjoying helping people out in their game. I guess, I’m a bit of a mentor and I organise stuff in there, I really love it. I used to have so many more hobbies when I was younger, like skateboarding and stuff, but getting a bit old for that now. The knees aren't what they used to be.
I like printing because I feel confident that I can do a good job. I really have a knack for identifying colours and identifying problems and fixing them. I get a lot of satisfaction from my work, from a job well done. I feel good when I get everything done well and right away and when I don’t, I learn from that.
Time-management skills are also a must in this job, as it’s always pretty busy. I enjoy working with InHouse, being family owned, they really care about me. It’s a lot more personal, more job security… I know if I need anything, Bob will help me out.
